Born in Calif. Raised in ND - small rural town. Married, ranched and farmed with husband for 30 years in ND before moving to Miles City.
Education
Nursing education - formal. Self taught in art.
Influences
Rosa Bonheur and other early painters who depicted strong rural scenes.
How and where did you get started
Painted all my life from grade school on.
ARTISTIC TRAINING
Self taught - studied color under Rosemary Landsberger, palette knife with Art Kerner, watercolor working under Bruce Haughey.
MEDIUM/MEDIA
Watercolor & acrylic, oil, watercolor is my primary medium.
SUBJECTS
Rural scenes, horses, anything that challenges me. Do like still life as well.
